James J. Orlow graduated from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's in Economics, with Honors, and the Harvard Law School. Following active duty as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Naval Reserve he entered private practice. Mr. Orlow has limited his practice to immigration and citizenship law since 1965. He has served as the National President of American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chairman of various committees of the American Bar Association dealing with immigration and citizenship law. While Mr. Orlow accepts most types of cases, the cases for which he become best known are those that other lawyers refer to him, involving complex issues for which novel resolutions are required.
