Leda GuiQin Fan has practiced law since 1994. She brings rich and varied experience working with both Chinese and U.S. law in a number of areas. Currently, her practice is almost exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law. In this field, she has acquired extensive experience and compiled a highly successful record of handling broad areas of immigration matters. Her expertise covers all facets of immigration and nationality practice, including employment-based EB-1, National Interest Waivers and labor certifications, family immigration, non-immigrant visas, J-1 waivers, asylum and cancellation of removal proceedings. Being a first generation immigrant herself, Ms. Fan is dedicated to vigorously representing her clients?interests. Ms. Fan obtained her bachelor degree in English Literature. She was also awarded a Bachelor of Law degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, one of the most prestigious universities in China. She later earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with distinction from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ms. Fan was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1999.

Ms. Fan is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Louisiana Bar Association. She is a licensed attorney in China as well. Ms. Fan is active in community service organizations, such as OCAW (Organization for Chinese American Women) New Orleans Chapter, the Louisiana Asian American Women’s Caucus and APAS (Asian Pacific American Society).

Donald R. Brinson has practiced law since 1999. Currently, his practice is exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law. Mr. Brinson applies his extensive training in legal writing to craft and polish the many documents submitted in every case to ensure each communicates the client’s case in the best way possible. 

Mr. Brinson has a variety of experiences gathered during his undergraduate studies, at California State University, Fresno, where he co-founded the International Business Students Association, an organization of business students from the U.S. and the numerous countries represented at the university’s School of Business. Born in Riverside, California, Mr. Brinson graduated from Cal State Fresno with a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Mr. Brinson joined the U.S. Air Force and flew as a navigator for over ten years before leaving to attend law school in New Orleans.

Mr. Brinson attended the prestigious Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated with his Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1999 and has practiced law since then. He has successfully done appellate work before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Brinson still flies with the Air Force Reserves in Biloxi, Mississippi, when needed.
